Enhancing our services, thanks to member feedback
30 September 2024
Brighter Super always looks at ways to improve our services, with new features and enhancements added throughout the year.
Listening to member feedback is helping us improve many of our services, so we can deliver a better experience for all members. .
Here are some of the changes that we’ve made in recent months:
- We have reduced Contact Centre call-waiting time by 60% over the last year (comparing July-September 2023 with July-September 2024).
- New online forms are now available, making it easier, more convenient and faster for members:
- A new online form is now available for Pension account applications (in Member Online), making it easier for members to open a Pension account.
- Binding non-lapsing beneficiary nominations can now be completed online, eliminating the need for printed form submission, and there's no need for anyone to witness your nomination.
- You can now submit an intention to claim a tax deduction on personal contributions online, which will be much quicker and easier than the previous printed form. This also reduces form completion errors and speeds up processing time.
- We have simplified claims processing for low-value death benefit claims up to $10,000, reducing paperwork and speeding up payment times.
- We have enhanced our process for Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) claims, with improved claims tracking and management, resulting in a better claimant experience.
- Our Consolidate Your Super tool is now available on our main website, whereas previously, it could only be accessed in Member Online. We've added identity verification, so members don't need to be logged into their account to search for and consolidate their other super accounts (including lost super or accounts held by the Australian Taxation Office).
- We have introduced faster payment processing for Pension account withdrawals, speeding up the process for members, including the unit pricing timeframe.
- A new Adviser Online website for external financial advisers whose clients are Brighter Super members who have given authorisation to access their information.
These ongoing improvements underscore Brighter Super's commitment to enhancing the member experience and streamlining our processes. Members can look forward to more efficient and user-friendly services as further initiatives are rolled out throughout the year.
