LGIAsuper was a finalist for the 2020 Chant West Conexus Financial Super Fund Awards

We reached the finals for two awards - Super Fund of the Year and Best Fund: Member Services

LGIAsuper has gone up against some of the country’s largest superannuation funds, being named as a finalist in two categories at the 2020 Chant West Conexus Financial Super Fund Awards. This follows LGIAsuper’s MySuper Lifecycle Under 75 investment option making Chant West’s ‘Top 10 performing growth funds for 2019’.

This was the first time our fund had been named as a finalist in the prestigious Superfund of the Year category – a true testament to LGIAsuper’s commitment to growth, excellence and providing exceptional services to its members.

This pinnacle award aims to celebrate and recognise excellence across a range of key criteria, namely: investments, member services, fees, insurance and organisational strengths, focusing on the overall experience of a typical member. 

LGIAsuper CEO Kate Farrar said that she and the whole LGIAsuper team were honoured to be named in this category as it demonstrated LGIAsuper’s ongoing dedication to delivering strong results and a trusted range of products and services.

LGIAsuper’s second nomination for Best Fund: Member Services recognises the exceptional service to members.

The awards, which combine the Chant West and Conexus Financial awards, showcase the leaders of the Australian superannuation industry, celebrating best practice in order to elevate industry standards and deliver improved outcomes for members.

Ms Farrar explained how the mid-sized fund was unique in that it was small enough to access niche markets, yet significant enough to make substantial investments, putting the fund on the front foot to take on the larger players in the market.
